Final sign up for Webelos Woods is this coming up Monday.  Anyone who is camping must bring $10 to me on Monday.
We are meeting at the Church at 4pm on Friday the 16th for loading and departure.  We will be returning hopefully around 11am on Sunday the 18th.  An email will be sent out when we leave camp.
Patrols need to be putting together menus and tent buddies.  Anyone who needs a troop tent, troop sleeping bag, or other gear from the troop needs to speak to a Quartermaster and Mr. Wulf on Monday.
I need drivers!!! Please get back to me if you can drive- my contact info is at the end of this email.  I will need to know if your vehicle is insured and you must have a first aid kit in it.  And of course- how many boys you can take (with seatbelts).
Here are directions to camp: Ogden Group Camp – off Paulina Lake Rd. (Head south on 97 to Paulina Lake rd. Turn East and proceed approximately 2 miles. Camp will be on your left just prior to crossing Paulina Creek)
Big thanks to Mr. Kleinsmith who has volunteered to pull the troop trailer to Webelos Woods!  I am hoping this means pull it back on Sunday too, but we might need someone to pull it back on Sunday.  Kirby- if you can let me know, that would be great.
Big thanks to Mr. Wulf for towing a second trailer with whatever will not fit into the first trailer.
Big thanks to Ted Pech for bringing the firewood again, and cooking Saturday Lunch and Sunday Breakfast.
And a big thanks to Mr. Seed for feeding the adults Saturday Breakfast and Dinner, and the whole troop on Friday night!

Parents - Fun getting to know you evening!

Posted on Oct 7 2015 - 9:59pm

Inviting all Troop 21 parents to a fun evening of team building and getting to know one another .   As our troop continues to grow, we have many valuable assets in our parents that we would like to explore and discover areas of overlapping interests.  Our troop has many volunteer opportunities that we can match to your skills if we know how to utilize them for a stronger troop and more opportunities for our scouts.

Please come to the Monday, October 26th meeting from 7-8:30 with your scout to learn more about the interesting people you see each week!

Webelos Woods is coming up!!! October 16-18

Posted on Oct 2 2015 - 4:04pm
Hi Scouts and Scouters- it's Webelos Woods time again: October 16-18
My name is Rob Battey- Sam's dad, and I am the adult in charge of this campout.
Webelos Woods is again in the same great location- on Nat'l Forest land next to Paulina Creek near La Pine, just off of the road that goes up to the Newberry Crater.
This is a district campout- all the area troops will be there.  There are various troop demonstrations and a campfire Saturday night with skits etc!
Our troop is building and hosting a Monkey Bridge as well as dutch oven treats for all of the Webelos and their families.
Our boys will be planning menus, water, tent buddies, etc for their patrols in the coming weeks.
Adults: We will need the troop trailer and another open top trailer as well.  Troop trailer will hold all of the patrol boxes, stoves, boys gear, and propane.  The open trailer will need to hold long spars and other monkey bridge gear and all the water.
I am pretty sure I got the Monkey Bridge covered.
Adult Volunteer Needed: We need a volunteer to pull the troop trailer.
Equipment Volunteer Needed: Also someone to volunteer an open trailer (Mr. Wulf?). I can pull it.
Adult Volunteer Needed:  And Ted with his firewood trailer pleeeese?
Adult Volunteer Needed: Any suggestions or whatever are great- Someone to buy food and cook would be awesome, or we can divvy up meals...
Feedback please- email me directly- robbattey@gmail.com.
